Why Royal Baby No. 2 should
NOT be named Diana
Future King of England Prince William and his pregnant wife Kate are expecting their second child any moment now. After giving birth to any heir some two years ago with Prince George, the young Royal couple are well respected by the British public and FalseFabs. Though the public have issued their attempts to share some joy with interference on naming the incoming child.
Should the gender be of a female nature, the public would like the young couple to name her Diana, after William and Prince Harry’s late mother Princess Diana of Wales. Diana was also known as the People’s Princess, for her stellar work and natural warmth to society, on a global scale earning her respect the world over, none more-so than Britain itself. Her untimely departure from the world years ago will always be remembered but her spirit remains stronger in the nations hearts.
Diana was the greatest pioneer to come out of England, let alone the Royal Family and transcend the bond between reality and rich. Never forgetting her roots and giving back to the people and society in grand scales, which can not truly be measured, was testament to her livelihood. She gave people hope, love and possibilities.
While the name might be fitting and nationalist’s would hope for her to memory to live on, naming the child Diana would be a grave mistake. Diana is one of a kind and can never be replaced. Once named, the child bears the greatest and unfair responsibility of such shadow which can never be outshone. A feel good moment cannot replace a lifetime and this will impede on the child furthermore. While it might be ‘good’ for the public to get a smile and achieve their ‘desire’ of naming a Royal baby, firstly, the child is not the public’s. It’s William and Kate’s. Secondly, the child cannot be given such a pedestal to never climb above for their entire lifespan. Thirdly, it would make a mockery and laughing stock of all involved, parents, Diana and the Royal’s as-well-as the state of the public.
The child should be named as the parents wish and not be influenced by some random people who would like a lovely moment. The child should be enough, surely?
Modern Royal’s William and Harry were thrust into the limelight at a young age and a media swirl of fundamental problems to this very day. Both William and Harry are the greatest young Royal’s we have, with Diana to thank. We should make sure that the modern future is not tainted by public meandering or political sway which has the power to cripple them. For the future of the country, the trio with babies on the way can establish a more harmonious relationship to the Royal Family if it abides by a strong will and compassion for society were appropriate.
Diana’s name and timeless work will always remain high in the world. There is no need to christen the child with such hypocrisy, even if the Royal’s feel pressure to add a ‘traditional’ name on their child within the Royal Family bloodline.
Name your child, not anyone else’s.
Anyway, it seems too obvious for the want of a female, that they will probably have another male.
FalseFabs wishes them nothing but happiness throughout.
