Now it’s the turn of the long awaited and somewhat sceptical coming film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Well, here we go… 🙂 Sound off in the comments below! (Please try to keep them clean.)

The Film is set for release in 2016, starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. Gal Gadot also joins as the revamped Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman has been cast for Superman sequel

Israeli star Gal Gadot will slip into the female Wonder’s hotpants under the direction of Zack Snyder, presumably. She will be joining the coming Batman vs. Superman sequel to Man of Steel, meaning Wonder Woman is due to launch.

While Gadot is a stunning and sexy lady, Zack has proved to be completely mindless in making a superhero franchise thrive. After his misdirection casting Ben Affleck ( a talented actor unfit for the role) into the Caped Crusader’s costume, Warner Brother’s is proving to be little competition to its rival, Disney, owning the Marvel group. The aim is to produce the long awaited Justice League film. Many view this as a cheap and lame way in conducting the film only based on Marvel’s boost of the Avenger’s unit.

Many believe Snyder is literally rushing the franchise along without Batman or Wonder Woman in their re-castings gaining new films beforehand.

Our view?

Warner need to sack Snyder imminently. Bringing the franchise down and crippling its mentality before it begins is horrific. When the movie plays out, Snyder’s rush to cast ‘popular favourites’ (especially after FalseFabs debated Wonder Woman’s inevitable on-screen return) will ruin the film, the actors and the characters. It is something that the movie house will never live down. On top of this, it will clearly hand the victory to Marvel.

Set for 2015, Snyder’s Superman sequel with Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck is now rumoured to have been pushed back from its release date to 2016. Warner Bros. confirmed the film was put back till May 2016, which is another slap in the face to the fans. Prepare for more outrage on YouTube, no doubt.

While this is an amazing opportunity for Gadot, whom we have no hatred towards personally, the hiring of a random pin up will ruin the reputation of Wonder Woman herself. It could also make the franchise look very disillusioned from what a superhero actually is and what makes them connected to the audience.

Aiming to find someone ‘new’ and unknown to create some buzz and boost Snyder’s ego is ridiculous. The man has now proved immensely inferior and no picture house should work with the tool ever again. Your reputation is on the line and is something that when taking a huge hit, can ruin everything strived for.

Taking this long to deal with and filled with hot air, the film is already a massive mess and hasn’t even had any real detail on the release. If you need a new director, email us.

Is this the new Batman?

Batman Vs Superman!

It appears we may be having a new superhero battle on the way.

Two dueling might’s may collide in a Batman Vs Superman epic.

Zack Synder, producer of recent Superman success Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, is said to be behind the idea. He also recently held talks with actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 47, tipped to play the new Caped Crusader. Morgan had previously worked with Synder and most know on the hero circuit as The Comedian in Watchmen.

Morgan has had numerous credits in TV and Film including Weeds, Grey’s Anatomy and co-starring with Penelope Cruz in Hollywood.

Cavill beat Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin and  Joe Manganiello for the role of Superman. Brolin is being tipped by others as the favourite to get the role.

Fans allover the internet have gone wild for the craze, adding actors ranging from Michael C.Hall to Bradley Cooper and beyond. Even the Lex Luthor debate has begun.

Shortlist

Who could play and who would WE suggest for the role of the Gotham saviour?

The film is going to need someone who meets particular criteria. This is a level selection consisting of certain factors. They need to be young, able to work with the new Superman Cavill and therefore should be a fresher, modern hero than a pure Hollywood name, however there are a couple of exceptions to that rule. Below are a few names capable of taking the dark robe and shining yellow utility belt.

Should not come with already hero starring baggage. In translation, no one who has been a mainstream hero should switch to another.

Jake Gyllenhaal

jake gyllen

Too mainstream, too typecast and rather sweetly somber in attitude the role would not suit him, overall.

Ryan Gosling

ryan gosling suave

Gosling would be a decent choice, and a good back up should other names fall through but with his own commitments to filming his own movie and fresh from other roles, Gosling is taking downtime. This is good not to overdo his recent cinema entries. Time is vital to recoup. He doesn’t fit the full profile of a full on Batman, however.

Benedict Cumberbatch

Cumberbatch tired of Ôposh-bashing'

Fair choice but not needed and no place for curly haired Batman, even if he had a shave. Just doesn’t fit plus busy with other epics and Sherlock, but has earned a nomination.

Joseph Gordan-Levitt

joseph gordan levitt

Too young, too sweet and lacking depth.

Karl Urban

karl urban

Doesn’t fit the role, look too scrawny and had hard connection as CIA agent in RED. Too wooden.

Wes Bentley

wes bentley

New, fresh and has a look. Would need some strong screen tests for consideration. Smile, eyebrows and frown add to figure of the Batface. You may remember him as that ‘weirdo’ in American Beauty with the shopping bag and camera.

Michael Fassbender

ichael fassbender

Has strong and technical skills for film. Dark, mysterious and intriguing. However questionable for a full on, all round Batman.

Gerard Butler

gerard butler

Hot candidate here. Has sultry mood and stage presence with actions. Could be worthy of the cape.

Chris Pine

chris pine

Has a strong, young and fresh take on screen. Proved can hold his own in tight main role. Does he have enough to transfer those skills as Batman, though? Has other commitments for release but is worth a look for the younger generation.

Bradley Cooper

bradley cooper

Has the look, Hollywood name and sweetness with audience. Would be considerable but overall is a no. Just too dreamy and not strong as a hero. Some roles are not meant to be given if only requirement is to fulfill a dream on paper. Outstanding in other roles. Hype too heavy for Cooper as hero.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan

'Twilight' Premiere

Is looking rather credible as a candidate. May add maturity to the role, but would need to present a strong modern take to enhance younger audiences.

Lex Luthor

The search is also on for the super villain. Three more high worthy candidates are below.

Bryan Cranston

bryan cranston

Has a tender, troublesome and tense screenplay brought to life on camera. Another worthy choice.

Mark Strong

mark strong

Tipped as the one most likely Strong has kept super villain working well, last seen in Kick-Ass. Would be huge asset.

Idris Elba

idris elba

The only exception with a black gentleman highly gifted with onscreen talent. Highly rumoured to have been offered and turned down the role of Doctor Who, Elba, always in demand overseas would be an excellent choice. Also starring in super sleuth series Luther, he has the name written all over him.

The lead role of certain characters cannot be altered to present mutli-cultural society because the role just won’t work, only be about causing buzz for headlines and devalue the name of the hero. It would lose all credibility. It has nothing to do with race or gender as many assume is the cause of discussion, this sparked controversy from Twitter when discussing Doctor Who.

I don’t have to justify myself but I have numerous black and female friends as well as ‘migrants’ but I say what is right when everyone cannot be forthright to speak up for fear of being branded abusive in some manner. Caving into Political Correctness does not help the role or the movie grow and because center to a farce of media attack. Certain roles can, but there are a few such as James Bond, Doctor Who and superhero’s that cannot be altered. Changing them just for the sake of it rather than who is correct for a role is plain mindless. Choosing a superhero of such magnitude is a tall and distinct order.
