Big Brother UK, week 10 nominations

Big Brother UK,

week 10 nominations

With one week looming toward the final, Big Brother UK cast its final nominations.

Luke S won a free pass to the final last week (see below), as Sara and Luke A sailed through as they received no nominations. Only those receiving at least one nomination, which the show already did last week, saw Ashleigh, Adam, Scott and Deena all face the public vote.

The show revealed one week before the final that there will be a double eviction after numerous teasing and not following through. Viewers cannot fathom as to why this never occurred. The answer is simple, Channel 5 were scared they may not have any people left in the house if they threw everyone out, or that the show would have no spark to continue watching, where most viewers were outraged and turned off after Benedict Garrett was evicted, closely followed by outside Lydia Louisa. Lauren Carre’s unwarranted boot was a final straw. The show has suffered immensely since treating bullies, racists and verbal abusers favourably to maintain a number of housemates instead of a quality output.

Ashleigh is a favourite to leave the house. Deena Uppal is bookmakers favourite to win, though some predict her downfall on Friday. Clearly it will be Ashleigh and Scott who shall leave. Viewers still remember when Scott (and Ashleigh) joined the reprehensible Caroline Wharram in their schemes of gameplay and abusing housemates in the process to survive.

Both were reprimanded for Indian stereotyping

On Friday Becky Hatton was evicted from the house. In the show’s “shock twist” they chose to reward two abusive housemates Luke S and Conor McIntyre a chance to walk away with a free pass to the final or a £50,000 reward for pushing a button first. Neither had to push the button and could return to the house. McIntyre wanted to reach the final he claimed, as Luke S aimed to press the button in a cocksure manner of egoism Conor slyly pressed the button after agreeing to sidestep for his counterpart.

Luke S threw items and “fixtures and fittings” usually seen in Big Brother to be unacceptable behaviour resulting in immense punishment, go unpunished, as McIntyre took the money from the winner’s prize fund leaving the other 50k in play.

Conor’s Cash

With Olympic fever the country were united and rejoiced with a nation’s might of winning, dedication, passion, desire and achievement. In Britain, at Big Brother, we rewarded an abusive, racist, thug who threatened to “punch her” and “stuff” certain items including her grooming products “up her ****” numerous expletive comments to her genitalia. This happened early on in the series and Big Brother UK took no action on it. Previous housemates were met with eviction in such cases.

Conor’s transcript that ‘earned’ him £50.000

On his interview, quizzed by host Brian Dowling, McIntyre took no remorse for his comments and aimed to defend his actions stating Deena was awkward to live with. McIntyre had numerous levels of awkward living with almost every housemate he didn’t “like” and often attacked furniture in angry episodes of attack.

Con-man claims he was right

Big Brother production staff and porn owner, Richard Desmond, who also owns newspaper the Daily Star (enough said) highlights the lack of understanding to the product from older variations aiming to run it for a youthful market, distorting reality to form teens who support abusive housemates as role models due to nationality or postcode and create abusive people in society, also claiming “racism” to the nation of Ireland, which is not racism, its nationality.

Viewers claim Desmond is “distorted from Reality”. Do You agree?

The fact kids throw around the lethal word of racism and assume it is a debatable opinion on a housemate, seen on a product, with distorted levels of uneducated persons aiming to attack anyone as a result of a comment that has scope forces the reality of this word to become extremely dangerous. Someone needs to oppose, shutdown or rehire a new production man/crew. I’m available; by the way to form the product credibly or just let it leave peacefully as no good can ever come off of this mockery that is all aiming to sell Desmond’s smutty newsparper alone.

Big Brother UK Nominations Week 8

Big Brother UK Nominations

Week 8

On the eighth week ironically eight housemates out of ten are up for the chop, making fans speculate over a potential double eviction.

Only Becky and Scott were safe, meaning Ashleigh, Adam, Caroline, Conor, Sara, Luke A, Luke S and Deena are up for nomination.

First time nominated for house ‘stud’ Luke S

Deena is current bookies favourite to win the show, after being an outsider from the beginning. Last week Lauren Carre was evicted over popular Luke A.

Being a vote to save, fans assume Ashleigh is hot favourite to fall last in contention, though others hope it will be a two way elimination.

The obvious answer?

Eliminate Caroline. Nicknamed the Terminator by her housemates past and present, any one she schemes to get up for eviction ends up leaving, however, Wharram has managed to cause abuse, racism and highly aggressive verbal abuse towards other housemates. Many excuse her due to her age of 20. Age is NO excuse. I was morally right since 14 or younger. There is no excuse for the levels of behaviour to that extremism.

Big Brother took NO action on Caroline’s disgraceful behaviour.

Last week Scott and Ashleigh were reprimanded by Big Brother after complaints to OFCOM regarding Indian stereotyping. Only acting on OFCOM’s direction, Caroline still hasn’t been reprimanded for her levels of abuse, including a Nazi salute.

Everyone will stereotype, we do it all the time, and this is not a form of abuse, it is everyday life. It will continue to remain. However, abuse on levels of racism, including claims of a black man being a “gorilla” which still didn’t call Caroline in for stereotyping, after weeks previously giving her a light word most call a ‘slap on the wrist.’ Conor McIntyre has not been dealt with regarding his former abusive comments to females and aggressive nature in the house, which has cast immense negativity over the production of the show.

Big Brother UK Nominations Week 7

Big Brother UK Nominations

Week 7

This week housemates had to nominate face to face around a campfire during a Cowboy themed task.

In attempts to shake the show up, the bosses chose to make them nominate face to face, near the end of the series. It was an utterly ludicrous choice to implement, as the group of housemates playing more than a game, full of abusive people and racists chose to nominate the housemates under pressure – meaning they would all choose the obvious sacrificial lambs.

Should they have done this in private in the diary room as usual, the result would have been more diverse.

On Friday the show will lose an extremely popular housemate with the public, either Lauren or Luke A.

The show lost its edge and caused mass controversy when student Lauren faced porn star  and teacher Benedict Garrett, where all housemates creating the series have been weeded out, though this vote was when the rules changed, making it infeasible to evict after a change of discussing nominations.

Porn Star Benedict Garrett

This week Lauren was already pre-determined foreviction when the group spoke in code calling her the “wooden spoon” a nickname for stirring, where the housemates stirred the pot.

This is yet another rule break of discussing nominations, but because they have continually done this, Big Brother chose not to call it up, because it probably felt the same old boring thing is happening.

Conor and Caroline became the “Sheriffs” of the house

So Big Brother ignored its own brand identity and as a result, will become even more boring.

Big Brother should have changed the vote before and it should have changed it now. This is not affecting the ethos of the show, because the ethos is the rules they have ignored that require the change. The rules have been ignored to seem it isn’t always nomination discussions.

Big Brother is in its worst series ever and now has no credibility to its name and will be forever marred if this continues. It can turn it around if it changed it properly, but hasn’t done so, due to stubborn attitudes, making it a disaster.

At the start of last week Nazi Caroline was revealed, where she continually racially abused Adam for being black, calling him a “gorilla” among other obscenities and performed a Nazi salute when mocking him in a secret task watching footage with him in a group mentality.

After continual abuse and racial slurs, Caroline does a Nazi Salute. Big Brother execs nor Channel 5 have neglected to take any action yet…

Big Brother have shamefully taken no action whatsoever, despite requests.

Perhaps OFCOM need to investigate. See former post on Nominations for Week 6 here on the blog.

Conor McIntyre has also had temper issues and extreme jibes of assault to a female housemate, because he didn’t like her. He has been constantly striking furniture violently.

Big Brother UK, Week 6 Noms

Big Brother UK

Nominations for Week 6

After last week’s Turf Wars task, the last part would be to gain control of the Diary Room, which would allow the team of contestants the power to nominate, and the other team unable to cast votes.

Selecting one member each, to unlock a box with a number of keys, only one being the correct one, Luke A for the blues, took on Adam of the greens. Luke A and Lauren, members of the blue team, earlier told Adam of the greens they would sabotage the task allowing the greens to win as these three were the “outsiders” group from the beginning, which saw all other picked off.

The majority of the blue team were of those game players. If the greens won, most would get nominated, in their belief.

Upon the task, however, Luke A constantly stalling found the correct key, as Adam struggled. Eventually Luke A won the task, while attempting to fail, securing the blues the diary room.

All was not lost though, as Conor, Caroline and Ashleigh were involved in discussing nominations, therefore, now a rule break since rules changed, forfeited control of the Diary room to the green team.

This week, Conor and Shievonne face the public for eviction.

Luke S chose Deena and Adam.

Scott selected Conor and Luke S.

Becky nominated Conor and Shievonne stating she was “snappy.”

Adam voted for Caroline claiming she was “Vindictive, vicious and manipulative.” His second vote went to Shievonne.

Deena voted for Conor – “He’s aggressive. I don’t like him. He’s judged me before even knowing me.” She also chose Shievonne.

Shievonne, looking Glam on launch night

My View?

While Conor’s unacceptable behaviour is unfathomable toward women and his temper flaring, Shievonne (Robinson) has become a nasty backstabber and “sold her soul” in order to fit in with social grouping that doesn’t accept her and keeps her for the numbers game. While Shievonne claimed she was an individual, and as earlir background character with no role, she chose to lash out at others trying to help or talk to her. At 29, she is still very much a bratty child in her own world. She just won’t listen and follows the crowd after failing to keep her own identity in place.

Arrogant personal trainer Conor believes he can win the show

Her departure shall not affect the house overall, and will remove the number she tallies. It will then be another downfall to the ‘nasty’ bitches group power playing the outsiders, believing they owned the house outright, which overall, when they leave to societies real world, will be ever more disjointed from everyone and believe they are right in every action they do, willing to hurt others.

Big Brother’s Bother, Benedict’s Bashing and Five’s fracas

Image

Last Friday, 22nd June 2012, Benedict Garrett, former teacher and porn star became the third contestant to be voted out of the Big Brother house.

Image

In a furore of the fracas from Channel 5/Big Brother’s inept production of the series so far, this result sparked immense fury among its fanbase.

Garrett, 32, from Manchester faced the vote, a popular choice, alongside another popular choice, student, Lauren Carre, 20.

Image

The reason for Garrett being voted out of the Big Brother compound, was due solely to the fact that he had masturbated in the shower and toilet, a private space away from the remaining housemates, to which they objected and in hindsight, voted a guy out for having a wank, which most men do as a natural occurrence.

In a responsible fashion, the culprit, Benedict, who also cleared up after himself once doing said deed, choose to have a mature discussion with the younger, childish members of the house.

Ringleader Caroline, 20, with her witches coven of Ashleigh, Sara, and Scott, with others lingering nearby, chose to strategically rally her  numbers to vote and cost Benedict because they were childish to the fact a man, with levels of testosterone, chose to commit a sex act in private, in a purely natural manner.

Image

Image

Caroline, seemingly friends with Lauren, instigated Carre’s downfall to face the vote, of which she has survived, for now.

Image

All the girls had been hanging around, sharing time and with Lauren, until stabbing her in the back without her realising.

The Lady Macbeth of the house, with extreme birdnest hair, and an incandescent, lewd tongue, full of hatred, expressed with disgusted and pompous vehelemency, dictated the nominations, as Big Brother, on Channel 5, allowed housemates to openly discuss nominations. Some of her remarks of other housemates include “ghastly” “horrible” while claiming she felt “uncomfortable” and “victimised” by certain behavior.

Image

Casting away the original concept that the series was built upon, and what made the show a roaring success, previously on Channel 4, instantly peaked as a shambolic setting for the nationwide institution that was Big Brother.

Big Brother, chose to finally disallow the continual daily talk of nominations shortly on Tuesday. Housemates nominated on Monday. Prior to this, in a task in which Arron Lowe, 23, caught a timebomb, quickly passed the contraption to Benedict, where the punishment inside contained a right to revoke Benedict’s options to cast nominations that week.

Causing the mass engulfment on micro blogging site, Twitter, fans complained in their thousands, which made Big Brother’s production finally consider they had dropped the ball immensely.

Technically, Big Brother should have changed the vote. They could have…

a) cancelled the eviction, refunded all previous votes, (as no one wanted either housemate to leave considering the rule change), and re-scheduled for Sunday instead, then,

b) Either nominated all remaining housemates, or,

c) the most legitimate choice, to place all housemates selected for eviction by the two who were nominated (Lauren and Benedict) to be up for the vote. Benedict didn’t nominate, therefore Lauren’s two choices should have been selected.

Image

Big Brother neglected to change their ways, and as a result lost an extremely popular public figure and character in the house, creating interesting TV viewing also.

In aiming to Americanise itself, creating open nomination conversations to give more of a ‘game play’ choice, BB has now stripped all of its show to shreds. Many feel this is one reason adding to the cheapening of the show. No –one fully respects the show, its choices, nor its interest. Most turned off or didn’t bother watching after Benedict left the house.

If BB changed the vote, not for favouritism but for legitimate rule changing, it would have maintained whatever credibility it may have been able to retain.

Image

Many knew it would fail on the Channel 5 platform, while others had hoped it would still remain a mild success despite its watered down treatment.

Channel 5 have a habit of pinching worthy named formats, and categorically, putting their stamp on it, yet watering it down also, then causing the show/s to become lacklustre.

They can’t be blamed entirely, however, as Big Brother’s new production takeover, with stubborn attitude and delay to act, may have cost them more than they truly realise.  Though some still watch, most feel neglected, robbed or bored of the series, with all interesting characters leaving the show in the first 3-6 weeks, which adds an air of idiocy to the fact their sole aim was to create interesting characters from the new branding of the show, more so this year.

Big Brother is in its second year on Channel 5 currently, with the last series, becoming dull and destructive.

Last year’s winner Aaron Allard Morgan,31, from Weston Super-Mare,  pocketing £50,990, claimed at least 4-5 contestants attempted suicide or had those tendencies because of the show. Barely any at all claimed this was a case with the Channel 4 production, which ran for 11 successful years.

Image

Image

Image

Brian Dowling, winner of Series 2, popular celebrity and respected individual, an adequate choice, became the host with the new series on Channel 5, after the exceptional Davina McCall relinquished the duties once the show moved channels.

Image

Dowling has come under scrutiny from some watching, as too scripted, jokey and lacking all round personality from the caricature possibly enforced by show bosses.

Upon eviction Garrett, who also looted a chair, left for one reason, he masturbated. Living in a society which chooses sympathy votes to unstable housemates, who go back to the same people who cause the insults and abuse, casts a gloomy shadow over the tangibility to the structure of the show.

The fact a grown man was evicted for doing a natural act, in a private place, encouraging sympathy votes to non-interest competition whilst allowing disparaging behaviour, and only condoning lame punishments such as “no hot water” or removal of curling irons, exposes the inadequacies of the show. The show should just be left to die peacefully. No good can ever come from Big Brother any more. Exhuming the format has now allowed the show to continue rotting to its very core, until it finally disintegrates after its odorous stench of festering decay fossilises the entire design.

This week, Benedict had received numerous hate messages on Twitter, and even had his account suspended yesterday, in an unexplained reason.

Image

One source on Twitter claimed directly to me that someone working at Big Brother HQ had cut or closed the phone lines for Lauren. Either this was a lie to enforce votes, or a feasible reason. On Friday, Benedict was evicted. Either Big Brother did play dirty and then hoping not to get caught out manipulated the choice on the quiet. If not, then a lie was facilitated to enhance votes in a biased fashion. The source profusely claimed they were not lying. Looks like Big Brother has serious explaining to do.
