World Aids Day

World Aids Day

waday

World Aids Day begins on 1st December 2012

With a rapid increase in the contraction of the disease, it has never been more crucial to get yourself checked.

Getting checked is easy. Why don’t they get checked?

Some assume many are lazy and this may be true to an extent but not fully as numbers are high in those undiagnosed, meaning those who haven’t gotten checked are carriers and unaware they may be spreading to others.

Some who won’t get tested out of pride or think to themselves they wont have caught it, you may not have, but if you have had unprotected sex a number of times, and in a short space of time, go and get checked, it shan’t take long and will help you in the long run and support society and the world.

Show your support by wearing a red ribbon.

If you have unprotected sex, you could be at higher risk along with numerous unknowing they may have it, should seek help or advice. Go to your local GUM clinic or even a GP (Doctor) and talk with them on your concerns. As anyone knows, the quicker something is diagnosed (or ruled out) the quicker its dealt with, the faster help and support will be available to you to make life easier. You can still live a full and healthy life.

Myths that “all gay men” are the “scourge” that host this STI is exactly that, a myth.

Health authorities, governments and nurses express that men sleeping with men and African American/Black ethnic groups are most at risk and need to get tested if having a fuller sex life.

These are not the only groups who are assumed to be dirty and bad for having sex, but do have it responsibly. Those who assume this are the one’s (as I have been informed by sources from gay communities as well as Black communities) who blindly donate the aids epidemic and blame the obvious two groups because aids began in the media with black men from Africa and homosexual men as the first few publicly announced to bear the bug.

Many forget that in Africa, young children are born with it after sexual abuse, manly rape, to their mothers by callous men who know they are infected and couldn’t care less of spreading such infection.

If you are pregnant and have unprotected sex with one or numbers of men you don’t know off, or have before falling pregnant, get checked as you or your child could be at risk.

Some partners also cheat on their spouses/significant others so those who cheat could contract and then bring it back home to you by sleeping with you to cover their tracks from affairs and “make up” with a seemingly loving romantic liaison.

If the world works together, and the public complies with screenings and testing, then eventually, the world may be able to lower the numbers and risk of spreading the epidemic with co-operation.

Over 100,000 people in the UK are living with HIV, but a quarter do not know they have it – that is 25,000 people who are not benefiting from treatment and are increasing the risk of passing the virus on.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) state one in 20 men who have sex with men in the UK now have HIV, and the figure soars to nearly one in 12 in London.

This of course, is just one statistic of an increasing rise of all groups.

The key note to understand, first and foremost is that anyone from any group can contract, even Women. There is no shame in getting checked, and with the rates of “it only takes one” to pass it on, testing is crucial.

We live in a world where most of us are uneducated about the infection and its solution which is why it is important to take an interest and think rather than assume and blame as there is no judgment on lack of education on such subject. You can easily say it doesn’t affect you, but anyone could transfer it without you knowing, as well as loved ones you care for.

The most important to take from this is to use a condom. This increases safety and you can have sex responsibly.

Remember, having a sex life is all well and good but do so responsibly.

If you liked it, then you should’ve put a bag on it…

London 2012: Day 1 Results

Day 1 of London 2012 Olympics Round Up: Aquatics, Cycling, Judo and Gymnastics.

With so many results and too much to mention for people to read, most will be summaries or results for those hoping to know, without seeing a screen.

After the Opening Ceremony, the Olympics officially began on Saturday 28th July, with rowing in the early morning seeing Great Britain lead the charge in the females coming first, and the males both in the 2 men boats, with Helen Glover and Heather Stanning also setting a new Olympic record. Britain’s beautiful boys Will Satch and George Nash, both twenty two years of age, rowed to victory in the double sculls vessel.

The biggest news came in Cycling and Swimming, where Team GB, including Tour De France winner Bradley Wiggins and home favourite Mark Cavendish unable to win the Cycling challenge around London, was won by Kazakhstan’s Alexandre Vinokourov. Cavendish crossed the line at 29th place. Cavendish also told a reporter to “stop asking stupid questions” once asked a daft one of whether the Tour De France had tired the athlete out.

Bradley Wiggins didn’t wear a repugnant “Sky” branding ruining the event with advertising at London 2012, thankfully.

The BBC also took a hit, having to apologise for the poor coverage of the race, with presenter Jake Humprey apologising for poor audio and Gary Lineker tweeting on the camerawork – “This is the Olympics. The coverage is from a pool of broadcasters from across the world. I’m afraid that’s how it is regardless of who hosts.” The BBC launched twenty four television channels for the two week spectacular as the main host of the TV games.

Michael Phelps unfortunately failed to win his swimming contest, losing out to fellow American competitor, Ryan Lochte after dominating the Olympics for years, with a record sixteen medals, 14 gold, in the Men’s 400 metres individual medley. Defending champ Phelps clocked a slower time than usual to qualify for the final, ending finals in fourth place. Lochte, claimed it was “my time” and “enjoyed it a lot.”

Disheartening for Phelps, though let’s not take away from Lochte, who became an impressive turning point in the event, adding valuable competition.

Women’s Beach Volleyball also took place, outside in London, filled with sand, on a sectioned off space, rather than a beach, while China claimed the first medal of the games in the shooting event.

Qualifying for Men’s Gymnastics took place with Louis Smith proceeding. Japan and China are tipped as rivals to defeat. China also won the gold for female Weightlifting.

Yi Siling took the first Gold medal at the games.

Boxing saw Anthony Ogogo defeat Dominican Republic’s Junior Castillo by 13 – 6 on points going through to Thursday’s next round in the top sixteen.

He’s got a sensitive mouth, alright?

Tennis began at the Wimbledon grounds, where both Murray brothers Andy and Craig lost out to Austrian’s Melzer and Peyer.

Both Murray’s got their Team GB sweats on.

Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium bore host to the female football teams of Cameroon V Great Britain, which actually started on Wednesday to begin the Olympics, despite the Opening Ceremony beginning two days LATER on Friday 26th. Brazil and Great Britain proceed over New Zealand and Cameroon.

Judo saw Londoner, Ashley McKenzie, lose out to Japan’s esteemed Hiroaki Hiraoka in the 60kg category.

Sarah Menezes overcame struggle to become an inspiration, lifting victory in the finals as Olympic Gold champion for Brazil, which can only add to the pride of the 2016 Olympic holders fruitfully.

One instance was noted from the day’s events in the Excel centre – empty seats.

Tickets were given to sponsors who chose not to turn up/participate nor send representatives. Perhaps they should rectify this by placing aspiring journalists/reporters (hint hint) or individuals to represent their companies to claim those seats.

Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt was said to be investigating the mass hubbabaloo.

Why so many seats?

The answer is clear, seats are continually empty over the course of 2012 and will remain so because, tickets are ridiculously overpriced. It can cost you near £200 to get a third level seat in most events, classed as the worst seating in the three tier placings. Football, which received the biggest dip in sales from beginning on Wednesday, start at roughly £88. It is not a viable price considering the economic climate, and GB wonder why the British public, and outsiders, have no faith in the Games forward planning. Stuart Pearce, coach for Team GB’s Male squad again faced scrutiny for failing to select, nor have David Beckham as a player (nor as Captain), as a big reason, gone unreported by the media.

Female role model and First Lady, Michelle Obama returned to the UK to cheer on the USA AND the UK with the games in a celebration of Olympic culture, and also joined David Beckham a day earlier. These two role models added high prestige to moral standing in country values, worldwide.

Not afraid to get stuck in

Perfect couple of prestige and value

Many Brits want to be involved, however, everyone involved with the Olympics are keeping the public further away from the events. There are no incentives to join, and the games, supposedly meant to encourage youth, old and middle aged citizens to join in unison and come together instead of being diversely separated in society, which is already highly defragmented.

Government wish to bring the country together with the games, yet fail to understand they need to encourage the country to pay. They will not pay £80 for a seat, because they simply don’t have that amount of money, therefore causing a backlash in faith and fairness.

One of the event organisers, Lord Seb Coe.

It never looks good with empty seats. At least fill them with professionals or Journo’s or even those who have interest and trying to make a career, embodied with the struggle of working and education fees rising with no experience or a break in the market.

Offer tickets to bloggers to blog the Olympics. Of course, seeing as I mentioned this, if implemented – tickets please! 🙂 Contact on Twitter for email can be gained – @Dean_Tonberry.

Tweet Tweet!

However, it makes common sense, brings people together and spreads a positive environment to join the country closer together, than pushing it further apart.

It also inspires those doing work to be further influenced to gain employment and get the country and its economy moving once more.

Boris Johnson:Lord of London’s Rings

Boris Johnson, and his five Olympic rings of virtue, or whatever…

Lord of the Rings!

On Wednesday 27th June, re-elected London Mayor Boris Johnson unveiled the five Olympic rings over the side of London Bridge, with Olympics organiser Lord (Sebastian) Coe.

Lord Coe, fresh off the Olympic torch relay run, fast-tracked into London to commemorate the event with the Mayor.

That’s a big boat…

London at night

After the glorious unveiling, good ‘ol Mayor Boris explained the meaning of the five rings, also poised by Channel 4 newscaster, Cathy Newman.

“Look at those five rings. Baron Pierre de Coubertin said that they symbolised the five great Olympic virtues of athleticism, sportsmanship, exertion, poverty, chastity…or whatever. Well, roughly those ones.”

The chastity claim was the killer line that made all burst out with a right ‘ol chuckle. Thank you Mr.Mayor.

The NEW Archbishop in 10-12 years?

So, Great Britain, what do the five rings stand for? Leave us a comment explaining their meaning. Perhaps you could become the Lord of the Rings.

The pinnacle of London Town 🙂

Culture Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, quietly unmentioned on the sidelines, took a photo on his mobile phone, who has not been reprimanded for his grave misdemeanours surrounding the Leveson inquiry, phone hacking, and the Murdoch empire’s takeover bid of Media outlet BskyB.

Ever involved with his phone…

David Cameron’s discord on Housing Benefits

It’s all change again this week.

David Cameron blasts Jimmy Carr’s tax avoidance as “morally wrong”, while Mr. Cameron shortly after, chosen to sensationally cut Housing Benefit for under 25 year old residents of the UK.

Feeling these ‘kids’ had it too easy, and were claiming off the welfare system to have a better life, cutting these benefits, in Cameron’s mind was a choice that many, including modern day over 25s, who work would support the choice. The majority I have witnessed have not shared that view.

Apologetic Comedian Jimmy Carr publicly holds his hands up and takes responsibility for his blunder.

At 28 myself, never having a pot to hold, stuck on the welfare system, though I have been committed and trying all my life, even when I was under 25, and deemed another number in Cameron’s “Big Society”,  the question has to be asked, how many will suffer as a consequence of this action.

Dr Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, with a grave warning to Cameron’s “Big Society”

Aiming to re-establish a society of working people, in our young as well as middle aged, elderly and all in between, Cameron doesn’t realise he has actually opened those floodgates which will destroy the morality of the country.

Crime rates, burglaries of people’s homes or the outside goods, gang culture, political unrest and to top it all, young people struggling with bills and the cost of living, without the aid of the benefits, will consider and indeed, some, will commit suicide. No-one wants to say that out loud, do they? We can’t mention this, but the fact is, sweeping it under the carpet doesn’t eliminate the problem does it?

For those who don’t take their lives, which I implore no one to consider doing, most people cannot live with their parents as many are disowned, come from turbulent families torn apart or in warzones, or have parents who are deceased.

Sending them “back to their parents” doesn’t solve the solution, it creates dissolution. Plus, it doesn’t create independence, does it? Which then highlights the extreme mass flaws of the subject at hand, because, instead of relying on the state, they then rely on their parents (because they have no choice), which them ill prepares them for life in general.

How is anyone able to move forward, when you people back?

Get a job, Cameron says. Here’s an idea. Create Jobs! Maybe then people will apply. The reason people don’t work, and want to, is because, ‘Jobs’ (which are not ‘Careers’) are only in Retail, or Administration sectors. Some are now in building. Most are in trades or specialist lines of work. Specialist help, funding, and apprenticeships don’t exist in mass quantities.

Placed in any PR/Marketing/Advertising/Journalist/Writer/Editorial role myself, I could contribute to the community and the commercial economy fruitfully. The stubborn attitude, dominated by Upper class, nose snorting, sneering disgust at a “commoner” taking a qualified role in a ‘traditional gentleman’s ruled job’ which has now been distorted by the media mogul bearers who have severe dysfunctional ideologies surround who, what and how the position should ‘look’ than be built on talent, economical standard and professionalism.

Westminster’s snobbery has poured into London, and widely plaguing the country at the same time with its sheer ignorance to ruining a democracy which is dictated by random suits, billing themselves as the country’s saviours.

The country should be comprised of 30+ males and females, distorted from reality, creating an alternate one, where we all have 2 or 3 lovely children, have flowers in pot plants on the side table, and all sit at the dinner table from 1950 to share a home cooked meal by Betty Crocker.

How can society move forward, if it continues to live in the past?

Congratulations Dave, you have secured yourself for the next election. Enjoy your surroundings in No.10 Downing Street. You have successfully handed the government to Labour for next however many years. What job could David Cameron do once leaving the commons to become a “Commoner?” The David Cameron show!

“You’re Worthless, You’re disgusting, Get a job!!”

Cameron, who makes a law and forces it as a demand, than a decision, without considering that this will make the  country evermore disjointed from reality, then drives them further away from connection in society. Communities or people don’t stick together, they attack one another in order to survive, all thanks to your cutting of benefit without understand the severe repercussions that tear the country apart.

David Cameron, two months ago, was all smiles in a country pub, with his wife and children. Family man, husband, father. Casting away Politician, to leave a family life in a peacefully retreat full of publicity stunted cameras, wide spread on newspapers, shortly left the vicinity happy, caring and content with his wife.

Family Man David Cameron downs a pint

This is a family man, who encourages family values. The family man, happened to lose his daughter, by leaving her behind and driving off from the pub without even realising she was missing. They eventually returned to pick up his forgotten daughter.

In an interview in the Mail on Sunday, on June 24th 2012, regarding the issue of the housing benefit collapse, one infeasible journalist sensationally claims Britain is adorned with “feckless couples” claiming housing benefits.

Candid choice of words

Preaching to live with your families, Mr. Cameron believes we should all be working for our own families in the near future.

Living back at home, with parents, and jobless, can we ever aim to not only own our own home, or flat, but be able to have a child or two, supposedly the joy of life, and manage to look after this innocent that become a burden on ourselves, which also creates bad parenting, and then, continues the ever decreasing cycle of future children growing up in poverty, abuseful homes or settings and uneducated without any morals or upbringing on what is correct, let alone having a childhood robbed from them.

Next he’ll be evicting everyone from the Big Brother house.

Yesterday, Wednesday 27th June, in London, one “heckler” raised the issue in a publich speech by the PM, addressing the Olympic Games at a public event, where the PM responded “Don’t spoil it!” rather loud and passive aggressively.

David Cameron pledged to cut all things except for parental benefits, including Child Benefit. Did you really not see that one coming? We will address the state of education and welfare in greater detail in a forthcoming post.

Though cutting these housing benefits, apart from all the distress mentioned about, here’s the killer problem. Many more people will become clinically depressed. Those that don’t kill themselves, or be killed, are then able to claim Employment and Support Allowance (more on this later) and become absent from working and potentially a threat to society for their foreseeable future.

What levels of community, support and guidance are there, if all is cut away from us, in one fell swoop?

If Mr. Cameron is willing to have an interview with me at No.10 I will graciously accept, as I have a lot of issues to discuss that can benefit the country, help you understand the pitfalls, and the perils of the state and address further instances that can only be discussed in private.

Will Ed Milliband succeed as Prime Minister?

I am asking. I have been seeking a conversation for over five years. If any other politician is willing to listen, conversate or take on matters of importance, please get in touch, or leave us a comment and we can supply an email address for you. Or contact on Cameron’s hated form of communication, social media, or Twitter for example.

Thank You.
