It was Labour what won it!

The 307 year-old union between England and Scotland has been decided.

The choice in an independence referendum secured the union of Great Britain, where Scotland remains

a united part of. The Better Together campaign, fronted by Labour politicians, helped keep the United

Kingdom in union with Scotland, led by former Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling with

almost 54% to 46% favouring Independence. The Yes camp had been criticised for bombarding and

hounding respectful voters of the opposition and adding brutish campaigning. The No campaigners

had left the vote to be a mellow open field of democratic debate but intervened stronger when it was

feared many opposing voters where being abused for their opinion.

Businesses and economic investors threatened to pull out of Scotland and re-locate in England if a Yes vote was returned as a matter of consequence. Alex Salmond

was regarded as using this strategic measure to convince Yes voters of intimation and

scaremongering which the Yes protesters were seen to be endorsing themselves.

The three main party politicians and Her Majesty The Queen were said to be watching

with concern and favouring a continual United Kingdom.

A vast majority of male voters were in favour if independence at roughly 52% last week

while females would be voting at roughly 45% according to ICM research.

YouGov President Peter Kellner predicted a 99% certainty after the polls closed

last night at 10pm a No vote was likely at 54% from a poll after Scottish voters

cast their decisions earlier. He said “I would say it is a 99% certainty of a No victory.”

Fears of uncertainty, economy, welfare and other key policies swayed the vote in No’s

favour. An unknown gamble to create empty history was foreseen by voters to establish

connection than isolation.

Bribing bedfellows

Last week leader of the united Kingdom David Cameron pledged further powers to Scotland,

many of his backbenchers in the Tory Party considered “a bribe.”

The turnout had 97% of voters register, establishing faith in a democratic electorate system

despite voters disengaged with politics as a whole. The results at 54.34% for No to the Yes

vote on 45.66% was not guaranteed but concluded to secure the victory by analyst experts

according to Sky News at 5am this morning. 23 regions counted with 9 yet to hear where the

defining results.

Why vote for both or nothing on ballot? It means…

Votes were also discounted after those who turned out voted for both options on the ballot,

or they simply posted the paper with no vote marked. What people don’t realise is that

when you do this, you are officially sending a message that you are capable of voting

and want to but are making your message that both options are not good enough.

This is the message from the voters who post the decision and have taken the time to

go and vote but do not feel either side represents them and is a wake up call.

UPDATE 05.55 AM

The official result for Scotland’s remaining unity in the United Kingdom was declared

from the vote in Edinburgh at 05.55 am pushing the No campaign to the overall

victory against Scottish Independence. Aberdeenshire also voted No aswell.

Remaining votes were finally declared with No attaining an overall vote of 55.40%

as Yes took 44.60%. Only two more regions are to be revealed, however will not

change the course of the vote.

Aberdeen and  Edinburgh rejected Independence as Glasgow vote in favour of it. First

Minister Alex Salmond changed his Facebook profile images to ‘One Scotland’

messages and congratulated Glasgow only, in a level of bitter response to his

failed campaign.

Tom Daley Twitter Troll abuse ends in arrest

After Yesterday’s (Monday 30th July 2012) slightly unsuccessful Synchronised Diving at the Olympic Games, Tom Daley was subjected to a barrage of abuse on micro blogging site Twitter by an obnoxious user.

(Warning: Images and Tweets below may be highly offensive, if offended do not continue to read, they contain the “C” word and obscene images.)

The user in question, Rileyy_69, sent a mammoth amount of abuse to Daley, 18, personally on his account, mocking the death of his late father in a calculated and pre-determined attack.

Daley was notably upset, where users of the site complained calling for the user to be banned, sparking a mass trending of topic. Even a Twit petition was launched.

Tom’s father passed away of a brain tumour last year. Riley after receiving messages from users upset with his behaviour claimed he was not aware of the death, in order to backtrack.

Riley has sent some bitter tweets to another user, one said to be highly engulfed in a Twitter war, where abuse and death threats are sent constantly.

One YouTube clip has also shown the levels of ferocity and hatred in one’s self. The Video, with extreme hatred involved, has since been deleted from the site. Sorry about that.

Tweeters are asking the government to take action and lock this “vile fiend” up as is a threat to society , picking on anyone who disagrees, users claim.

Sky News also picked up the story within hours of the abuse beginning.

Riley threated to sue them for reporting it. Various sites and ITV news, also reported the story.

Riley, while in his feud with the other user @_OllyRiley even tweeted naked pictures of his adversary’s genitalia, mocking him and claiming he was a  “bigger” man than him, and also threatened to kill him.

Most claim the user sought to bump up his follower account while having no respect for anyone else.

The 17 year old, real name found on his Facebook and other Twitter accounts, Reece Sonny James, has been arrested by police instantly. Dorset police stated – “He is helping police with their inquiries.” Some ask for a tougher sentence with death threats and seeking to “hunt you down” to users.
